At UONJ, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality eye care. Our Assistance Program connects residents experiencing financial hardship with sponsors and vouchers to help them obtain the glasses they need.
Eligibility Criteria
- Residents of New Jersey experiencing financial hardship.
- Documentation may be required to verify eligibility (e.g., income statements, proof of residency).
How it works!
1. Send us an email: Residents can send an email to njopticians@gmail.com to express their need for assistance. Include the following;
- Name
- Contact Information (email and phone)
- Address
- Brief description of financial hardship
- Any specific eyewear needs (e.g., prescription details)
2. Process: Our team will review the applications and determine eligibility.
3. Connection with Sponsors: Eligible applicants will be connected with local sponsors or provided with vouchers for eyewear.
